What is Hair Restoration?

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) for hair growth is a non-surgical cosmetic dermatology treatment option for hair loss.

How It Works

During your appointment blood is drawn from your arm and taken to be processed in a machine called a centrifuge. The centrifuge rapidly spins your blood causing it to separate into 3 layers: red blood cells, platelet-poor plasma, and platelet-rich plasma.

The platelet-rich plasma is extracted and is then injected into your scalp. Providing the hair follicles with an abundant mixture of growth factor hormones and proteins, and stimulating hair growth.
